Indiana State University, with the support of the Lumina Foundation for Education, is pleased to offer the following conference for Indiana higher education faculty, staff, and policy makers:

College Students & Poverty Conference

Date:  April 17, 2015; 11am - 4:30pm (check-in from 11-11:30am)

Location:  Heritage Ballroom, Tirey Hall, ISU campus, Terre Haute, Indiana

Cost:  Free, but registration required by April 10 (capacity of 200). First 50 to register get a free copy of Dr. Donna Beegle's book (see below).

Optional Preconference Opportunity from 10-11am:  Community engagement is a deeply embedded component of the mission of Indiana State University for which the institution has received national recognition, including a #1 ranking in community service. We invite attendees to the conference to an optional and free pre-conference session where you can learn more about the program. The session will also include a tour of two units that uniquely support students from low income backgrounds. The first is our Career Center Clothes Closet that provides gently used business clothing for students as they have interviews for internships or jobs post-graduation. The second is a food pantry set up specifically for college students. Sign-up via the registration link above and information will be provided to you on where to come.
