Guest Parking on Campus
Guests on campus may purchase a $3/day guest permit in Parking Services.
Guest permits allow the user to park in any regular surface lot (no specialty lots or spaces) for the day.
Guests may also pay $1/hour or $6/day in the Parking Garage or West Visitor Lot.
Meters and Pay stations are also available for guest parking.

Visitor's West Lot and Parking Garage
University Visitor's West Lot
Parking is available for $1/hr or $6/day in the University Visitor's West Lot which is located on Chestnut Street between
4th and 5th Streets. The lot is a 24 hr lot and payment is required upon exit.
Parking is available for $1/hr or $6/day in the University Parking Garage which is located on Cherry Street between
7th and 8th Streets. The garage is a 24 hr garage and payment is required upon exit.

Available to faculty and staff. This permit allows the user to park in any Staff or Staff/Student lot on the ISU
campus or any ISU remote lot (excluding metered, pay or specialty lots, i.e. Psychology Lot etc).
Graduate students, undergraduates, graduate assistants, graduate fellows, and all others enrolled shall be defined as
"student" for purposes of vehicle registration. This permit allows "student" to park in any Student or Staff/Student lot
on the ISU campus or any ISU remote lot (excluding metered, pay or specialty lots; i.e. Psychology Lot).
Handicap parking permits are available for faculty, staff, and students who are qualified under Indiana Code 0-18-22.

Remote parking permits are available for faculty, staff, and students. This permit allows the user to only park in the
ISU remote lots. Remote lots include the Lot D Ext (9th and Eagle behind Lot D), Lot Q (8th and Tippecanoe), Lot N
(11th and Chestnut), Lot K (2nd and Chestnut), Lot O* (2nd and Chestnut), Baseball Lot (1st and Locust), and the ISU University Apartments
(1st and Farrington and 1st and Crawford). All remote lots will be open to any Faculty, Staff, or Student.
REMOTE PERMITS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN "STAFF/STUDENT LOTS OR ON 4TH/5TH
STREET " *Only available Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm. Vehicles left on the lot beyond
5:00 pm are subject to tow at the owner's expense.
Garden/Student Permit - Allows the individual to park in the Sky Garden
garage at 622 Ohio Street and in the ISU Student or Student/Staff lots.
Currently available to 500 Wabash residents only at this time.
These permits MUST BE PICKED UP IN THE OFFICE - available for pickup
beginning August 3.
Available to current permit holders only at this time.
University Visitor WEST lot permit
$95/SEMESTER Available 8am on August 19 in the office only
*If the lot is reserved for an event – permit holders will need to locate other parking on campus. Individuals with a West Lot Permit are
not allowed to park in any other Campus Surface lot or Garage space.
Motorcycle Permits -
$67.00 (available in office only)
Allows the user to park in any surface lot or motorcycle space. Moped

Lot Closings and Maintenance
Snow mounds in parking lots
Students and staff are reminded that it is against
university parking regulations to park on or adjacent to snow mounds in
parking lots. .All four tires must be on the flat parking surface and in a
valid space. Vehicles which block driveways or pose a threat to pedestrians
may be towed at the owner's expense.
Parking in unauthorized
Vehicles parked in unmarked areas owned by ISU that
are not designated as a parking lot by signage will be towed at the owners
Parking Lot Q closed for Statesmen Tower demolition
January 26, 2015
Remote Parking Lot Q closed Saturday, Jan. 24 to facilitate the Statesmen
Tower demolition. Vehicles remaining on the lot will be towed at the owner's
expense. A portion of the lot will reopen on Thursday, Jan. 29. Students and
staff who currently have a remote permit will be allowed to park in Lot D
Extension (9th and Eagle streets- behind Lot D), Lot C (9th and Chestnut
streets) or Lot G (9th and Chestnut streets).
