Crawford & Company is the world's largest, publicly listed independent provider of claims management and outsourcing solutions to carriers, brokers, and corporates.

The partnership gives ISU's insurance students access to nearly 40 online professional-level courses in adjuster safety, auto, casualty, ethics, fraud, liability, property, risk management, soft skills, transportation, and workers compensation. The training includes material reviews throughout each module and a final assessment.

"The Knowledge Management Center claims training platform offers a unique experiential learning opportunity for students studying insurance and risk management," said Rebecca Wray, Networks Financial Institute and Gongaware Center director. The Center is part of ISU's Scott College of Business.

"The modules provide hands-on experience and allow students to be exposed to multiple areas of the claims process via the innovative virtual platform. We appreciate our continued partnership with Crawford & Company and look forward to implementing the platform in our courses again this year."

Since 2017, Indiana State University has been collaborating with Crawford & Company for access to its innovative online learning system. The training modules provide an exceptional learning opportunity for students reinforcing what they learn in the classroom.

"Crawford is an industry leader in claims education and we are thrilled to partner with Indiana State University to share our online claims courses. We hope that our highly relevant and engaging courses will strengthen the claims curriculum, offer students greater knowledge of the insurance industry and inspire young minds to explore a career in claims," said Nidhi Verma, Vice President, Learning and Talent Management for Crawford. "Crawford's purpose to restore and enhance lives, businesses and communities is present in everything we do. Our KMC On -Demand courses allow adjusters, as well as clients, to stay competitive and compliant. We hope that students will enjoy the flexibility and pace offered by this platform and use it to maximize their learning."

Crawford & Company developed the Knowledge Management Center's online platform to offer their employees, clients, and independent adjusters in the claims insurance industry a robust claims education.
