Seven incoming Indiana State University Scott College of Business freshmen have been awarded the Networks Scholarship for the 2022-2023 year.
The Networks Financial Institute Scholarship provides first-year students with a $9,000 scholarship per year for four years, a $3,000 professional development account, and participation in the Networks Professional Development Program.
Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, involvement in high school, community service, leadership potential and the desire to pursue a career in business and financial services.
The incoming Networks Scholarship recipients are:
Keegan Beeler of West Terre Haute, Indiana, is planning on majoring in Insurance and Risk Management, with minors in Marketing and Sales.
Faith Bluel of Pendleton, Indiana, is planning on majoring in Marketing, with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
Evan Clark of LaGrange, Indiana, is planning on majoring in Marketing, with a minor in Sales.
Natalie Silver of Clinton, Indiana, is planning on majoring in Finance, with a minor in Economics.
Jace Souders of Pendleton, Indiana, is planning on majoring in Business.
Cassidy Trammell of Greenwood, Indiana, is planning on majoring in Accounting and Criminology, with a minor in Forensic Accounting.
Dillon White of Brazil, Indiana, is planning on majoring in Finance.
Networks Financial Institute began in 2003 with generous support from the Lilly Endowment Inc. Recipients of the Networks Scholarship participate in the prestigious Networks Professional Development Program in the Scott College of Business. The program is an intensive four-year career and professional development leadership program that develops future leaders in the financial services and business fields by offering opportunities such as corporate mentoring, paid internships, domestic and international travel, and attendance at professional conferences.
There is a heavy focus on both professional and personal growth through hands-on learning, industry relationships and personalized coaching with participation in weekly educational seminars. In addition, scholars are involved with student-led planning and execution of projects and events that impact the program, the university, and community with events like the annual Networks Ethics Conference that's held on Indiana State's campus each spring.
Students who have received advanced scholarships at Indiana State and are majoring in business are invited to participate in the Networks Professional Development Program. The additional incoming students who will comprise the program's Class of 2026 are:
Samuel Fox of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, is planning on majoring in Insurance and Risk Management and Finance, with a minor in Economics. He is a President's Scholar.
Josie Hapack of Highland, Illinois, is planning on majoring in Business, with a Minor in Sustainability. She is a University Honors Scholar.
Sadie Herring of West Terre Haute, Indiana, is planning on majoring in Insurance and Risk Management, with a minor in Financial Services. She is a President's Scholar.
Sydney Myers of Rosedale, Indiana, is planning on majoring in Insurance and Risk Management, with a minor in Finance. She is a Gongaware Scholar.
Hannah Natschke of Danville, Indiana, is planning on majoring in Business. She is a University Honors Scholar.
Allyson Neese of Terre Haute, Indiana, is planning on majoring in Insurance and Risk Management, with minors in Sales or Financial Services. She is a Gongaware Scholar.
Ryan Reimondo of Crawfordsville, Indiana, is planning on majoring in Business. He is a President's Scholar.
