Proceeds from the event will support many worthwhile, student-centered initiatives, such as attendance at local and regional industry events, travel to corporate tours, and support for students who are preparing for national industry exams, among other initiatives.
The day's festivities begin at 10 a.m. with registration and driving range time, followed by lunch, welcome and a shotgun start at noon. Dinner and an awards ceremony will take place following the outing at 5 p.m.
Cost of registration is $175 per person or $700 per foursome. Registrations include green fees, cart, lunch, dinner, beverages, hole contests and one raffle ticket per entrant.
"We are grateful to the industry for their enthusiastic support of our students," said Mary Ann Boose, professor and coordinator of the insurance and risk management program at Indiana State. "More than 40 students will be working at the outing, giving them an opportunity to make initial contacts in pursuit of internship and career opportunities."
Gold sponsors for this year's event include AON, Progressive and Anthem.
