Eight incoming Indiana State University students have been awarded the Networks Scholarship for 2015.
The prestigious Networks Financial Institute Scholarship provides first-year students with full in-state tuition for four years and a $3,000 professional development account. This scholarship program was created due to generous support from Lilly Endowment that created Networks Financial Institute in 2003.
The students will also be a part of the Networks Professional Development Program, housed in the Scott College of Business. This elite program provides the scholars an award-winning, four-year curriculum designed to cultivate leadership, management, teamwork and career skills, and receive access to corporate mentors, internships and travel opportunities.
Through their involvement in the program, students network, do career preparation and participate in weekly educational seminars. Additionally, the program encourages students to lead the planning and execution of projects that impact the program, the university and the community, which includes the annual Ethics and Social Responsibility Conference held at Indiana State each spring.
