The selection committee of the Charlotte Zietlow Endowment has announced the recipients of the Charlotte Zietlow Women Faculty Research Grants.
• Jodi Frost, mathematics and computer science, "Active Abstract Algebra."
• Carley Schmitt, political science, "The Legislative Juggle: Legislating, Electioneering, and Representation in the U.S. House."
• Alina Waite, human resource development and performance technology, "Exploration of Factors Influencing Idea Adoption at Entrepreneurial Events."
Zietlow, a member of the ISU Board of Trustees from 1989-2005 and resident of Bloomington, established the grant as part of an endowment exclusively to support pre-tenure women faculty in their work to achieve tenure. The awardees will be recognized at Indiana State's Women's Equality Day celebration, set for 3:30-5 p.m. Aug. 26 in the Library Events Area. The Indiana State community is invited and encouraged to attend.
