Indiana State proposes $82 increase per semester in tuition and fees

May 22, 2015

Indiana State University will conduct a public hearing June 3 to receive input on proposed increases in student tuition and mandatory student fees for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 academic years. The hearing will begin at 1 p.m. in the State Room of Tirey Hall.

The proposed increases would amount to $82 per semester for a full-time undergraduate student from Indiana. Resident and non-resident tuition and mandatory student fees would increase 1.95 percent for each year of the 2015-17 biennium.

These proposed increases are based on full-time student enrollment. University officials will provide a brief overview of the budget process and describe how these additional revenues will be used to maintain and improve academic quality before opening the floor for public comments. Each individual is asked to limit comments to three minutes or less.
