Catch a glimpse of an art student's experience in the University Art Gallery's last exhibition of the school year.
The "B.F.A. Thesis Exhibition," located in the University Art Gallery, and "B.S. Senior Exhibition," located in the Turman Gallery, showcase the work of graduating at and design students.
Running until May 9, this exhibit includes art from Bachelor of Fine Arts candidates: Justin Budde, Ben Delnat, Kinsey Norman, J.D Palmer, Carson Seprodi, Audie Spencer, Phillip Upshaw, M. Michelle Visker and Claire Wilson. Bachelor of Science candidates include the following: Sam Barnes, Kelcey Byers, Kathryn Downey, Andrea Frankiewicz, Aaron Grove, Eric Handlin, Stetson Hennington, Joshua Hoxworth, Lei Li, Jacob McCain, Christyna Neal, Annie Newkirk, Jade Rakes, Robert Rhodes, Blakely Slusher, Taylor Valandingham and Jennifer Wakolbinger.
After four years, these graduates can boast a variety of new abilities. From graphic design, to wood sculpture, to animation, to ceramics and painting, there is a fantastic range of work. Stop by the two galleries anytime!
A reception is set for 4-6 p.m. Friday, May 1, at the University Art Gallery.
The exhibition is free and open to the public. The University Art Gallery is located in the Landini Center for Performing and Fine Arts at the corner of 7th and Chestnut streets.
