Wellness Art Exhibition at Corporate Square through June 20

Ten adult students from the Indiana State University's Community School of the Arts will showcase their photography in an exhibition at Corporate Square, entitled "Wellness."

Artists Louise Anderson, Pat Breault, Bess Enright, Cheryl Kremer, Lata Ganatra, Donna Gustafson, Debbie Hadley, Barb Mickelson, Ceil Seprodi and Lisa Stein have captured wellness through the camera lens for this exhibit, which is on display through June 20. All the artists are enrolled in the "Digital Photography for Adults" class.

Viewing hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Corporate Square, located at 2901 Ohio Blvd.

The exhibition, co-sponsored by ArtsIlliana, is part of a new collaboration that brings art to areas throughout the community to be enjoyed by diverse audiences.

Arts Illiana and the Arts Council of the Wabash Valley set up a community wide exhibition engine called OutReach Galleries. Area artists have the opportunity to participate in solo and group shows at various locations to display and sell their work. This community initiative brings the arts to the greater population and gives artists the opportunity to display to different audiences.

"Digital Photography for Adults" covers technical and creative aspects of photography, and is taught by Emily Gruenert, a professional photographer located in Terre Haute. Gruenert has more than 20 years of experience and currently owns her own business specializing in portrait photography. She received a Master of Fine Arts from Indiana State University and a Bachelor of Science from University of Central Missouri. Fall photography classes through the Community School of the Arts start in September.

The "Wellness" exhibition is free of charge and open to the public. For more information, contact the Community School of the Arts at 812-237-2528 or visit www.unboundedpossibilities.com/csa  .
