Indiana State University is offering a new scholarship for registered nurses seeking to complete a bachelor's degree.
The $500 per semester award is part of an ongoing effort by the College of Nursing, Health and Human Services to meet the growing need for skilled health care providers.
To qualify for the scholarship, prospective students must work in Vigo County, enroll in six credit hours per semester and maintain a 3.0 grade point average or higher.
Priority will be given to candidates who apply by April 15. Scholarships may be renewed each semester pending funding and merit. For more information, contact the baccalaureate nursing completion department at 812-237-2319.
