The Indiana State University Wind Orchestra is featured on a new CD released by Naxos.
"Fanfare, Capriccio, and Rhapsody" features wind band classics previously recorded by John Boyd, emeritus director of bands at ISU, and now digitally remastered by Bruce Leek. The selection of music showcases a range of musical styles including works by Ron Nelson, Warren Barker and Andrew Boysen.
"This is the start of a major project to feature works that I have recorded at Indiana State University and Kent State University," Boyd said.
The CD is available for purchase at the Conservatory of Music in Terre Haute and also on iTunes, Amazon.com and Naxos.com.
