The fourth annual Diversity Fair will give the community a chance to learn about different aspects of diversity. The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 6 at Union Hospital and will feature several topics.

International student organizations from Indiana State University will represent their cultures by wearing traditional clothing, serving ethnic food and talking with participants about health-related issues. The Indian, Chinese, Hispanic, Moroccan and Saudi clubs from ISU will all be in attendance. The chaplain's office at Union Hospital will have a booth set up to talk about spirituality, religion and health concerns in different cultures. Also, disability awareness will be incorporated into the event.

ISU graduate student Amine Bouya is helping plan the event in conjunction with The Union Hospital Employee Satisfaction team. "The Diversity Fair is one of the most important annual events at Union Hospital," Bouya said. "It is important that we remember and celebrate our strengths and values. It is not only part of what we do every day, but it is also a part of who we are."

Booths will be set up in Union East Atriums A and B. The fair is free and open to Union Hospital staff, patients and the public. For more information, contact El Amine Bouya at ebouya@indstate.edu.
