October 19, 2010

The Indiana State University Foundation has announced the addition of Jack Fox and Kassidy Hiatt to its development team. Both are ISU alumni and came to the Foundation through their personal connection to the university.

"It's a great time to be a part of Indiana State University. There is such a sense of excitement and hopefulness among the different departments. I am eager to give our alumni an opportunity to be catalysts for continued growth," said Fox.

Fox, a Terre Haute resident, will work to enhance the fundraising priorities of the university's College of Arts and Sciences.

"Jack is a great addition to our team," said Steve Brown, the ISU Foundation vice president for development. "His past experience and personality make him a natural choice for this position."

Fox is a 1993 graduate of Indiana State and has held a variety of positions in the Wabash Valley, including associate pastor of outreach for Maryland Community Church, owner and director of operations for Doughmakers, assistant administrator for Columbia Terre Haute Regional Hospital, and administrator for Columbia Homecare. "I've always been one who dreams big," Fox said. "I am in a perfect spot to connect the dreams and passions around the university with the dreams and passions of our alumni and make great things happen on campus and around the world."

During Fox's tenure at Maryland Community Church, he was responsible for creating outreach programs to connect the church with the community. Blues at the Crossroads and ArtReach were just two of his successes that brought together hundreds of volunteers and 50 artists, respectively.

Hiatt's role as a director of development will focus on meeting with alumni and friends in the Indianapolis area.

"As a director of development, I look forward to inspiring others to become involved in the life of ISU. This institution holds so many of my fondest memories. I look forward to hearing the memories it holds for others as the campus is growing and changing dramatically throughout the years," Hiatt said.

Her career experience includes an outside sales professional position with for Cintas Corp. and a sales representative and design consultant for The International Design Center of Bonita Springs, Fla. "She will be an instrumental pa Both Fox and Hiatt will take on the primary responsibility of soliciting major gifts from alumni and friends of Indiana State. They will also be managing relationships with prospects and supporting volunteers, development and advancement staff, while focusing to secure support for campus-wide priorities.
