Five Indiana State students on a quest for a crown

Five Indiana State University students will be among 29 young ladies vying for the title of Miss Indiana and a chance to compete at the Miss America pageant.

Sycamores competing for the crown include:
• Taylor Schaffer, a junior public relations major from Terre Haute, Miss ISU
• Courtni Hall, a senior Spanish major from Crawfordsville, Miss Cosmopolitan
• Maggi Stephens, a senior music major from Freeland, Miss Crossroads to America
• Jaclyn Fenwick, a senior public relations major from Vincennes, Miss Northwest Territory
• Carolyne Holcomb, a senior public relations major from Terre Haute, Miss South Central

Competition begins Wednesday, June 23 and continues evenings through Saturday, June 26, at the Zionsville High School Performing Arts Center, 1000 Mulberry in Zionsville, Ind.

2010 Pageant Schedule of Events
Sunday, June 20
1 p.m. -- Miss and Teen Contestants arrive and participate in the Zionsville Merchants Pet Parade, Main Street, Zionsville

Wednesday, June 23
7 p.m. -- Miss Indiana Preliminary Competition at the Zionsville Performing Arts Center (PAC)

Thursday, June 24
7 p.m. -- Miss Indiana Preliminary Competition at the Zionsville PAC

Saturday, June 26
Noon -- Miss Indiana Parade, downtown Zionsville
1-2 p.m. -- Autograph signing at various Zionsville merchants
7 p.m. -- Miss Indiana Finals at the Zionsville PAC
