Learn about the intriguing history of the Works Progress Administration and the vision of the program's artists in the University Art Gallery's new exhibition "Faith, Fear and Failure: Selections from Indiana State University's WPA Art Collection," August 22 through September 24, 2011. With 70 paintings, drawings and prints dating from 1935 to 1941, this exhibition presents the wide range of styles and subject matter created in this government work relief program.
