Scott College Of Business - ProMBA in Plainfield


The Professional MBA (ProMBA) is open to applicants who hold an undergraduate degree and have five or more years of responsible, professional work experience. We seek a class with a variety of educational and professional experiences!


In order to be considered for admission into the program, each applicant must:

  • Complete the ProMBA Application.  Under choose your campus, select "Indiana State Satellite Location."
  • Upload your professional résumé on the supplemental materials section of the application.
  • Submit official transcripts for all institutions attended (undergraduate and graduate).  All transcripts must be sent directly from the school attended to Graduate Admissions (see address below).  E-transcripts should be sent to admissions@indstate.edu.

Admission into the ProMBA is granted once a year for the fall semester. Applications are accepted year round.  Timely submission of your complete application will allow us to fully consider your credentials. In some cases, a personal interview and/or letters of reference will be requested to support your application. Successful applicants will be admitted to the College of Graduate and Professional Studies at Indiana State University and the Professional MBA program.

Admission to the ProMBA program is based upon:

  • Length and type of professional experience
  • GPA(s) from previous institutions
  • Letters of reference (in some cases)
  • Personal interviews (in some cases)

All applicants must demonstrate that they are capable of meeting the academic rigor of the program and that they have the necessary experience to benefit from and contribute to the program.
