The Technology Support Center provides call-in and walk-in support for general technology questions, hardware issues, software issues and Blackboard.

The TSC and Blackboard Support are on the lower level of Stalker Hall, Room 009.

  • If a student has an ISU issued laptop (scholarship, rental or purchased through ISU website) that is under warranty, we will fix hardware problems.
  • For students with non-ISU laptops, we will diagnose hardware problems and refer them to a local vendor or the
    computer manufacturer.
  • Software problems can be fixed on any student laptop. If a reimage is required to fix a software problem on a non-ISU laptop, the cost to the student is $30.
  • If a student has an ISU-issued laptop and we need to keep their laptop for several days for repairs, we can furnish the student with a loaner if we have one available.
  • If you think your computer has a virus, bring it to the Technology Support Center and we can assist. The sooner you bring your computer to us, the better.
  • We can help set your smart phone up to access your ISU Email and the wireless network.
  • Our technicians will help Students with software issues on any machine, but we can only provide hardware repairs on the ISU-approved Lenovo and HP student models that are still in warranty.
