Blackboard Basics Workshops for Faculty
OIT is offering Blackboard workshops for faculty that are either new to Blackboard or just want a refresher. These sessions will provide a quick-start for assignments, tests and grades in Blackboard. Sign up for a session here:

Use Blackboard to Collect Papers.
Tuesday, March 5
Noon - 1:00 PM
Library 230
We will show you how to use Blackboard to have students submit their papers online. This will allow you to check the papers for originality, and you will be able to choose whether to grade them online, or print a paper copy.

Creating and Grading Exams in Blackboard.
Tuesday, March 19
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Library 230
By creating an exam on Blackboard, the system will automatically grade close-ended questions, letting you concentrate your time on the more subjective short answer or essay questions. We will go through creating and grading exams, as well as discuss best practices for giving exams online.

Post Grades in Blackboard.
Wednesday, March 20
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Library 230
In this session we will work with you to post grades you have collected through traditional means onto Blackboard. This will allow your students to have access to their grades at any time.
