Software for ISU Students
Students at ISU have access to software at no added charge. This software includes anti-virus, security tools, operating systems and office products. These packages can be downloaded from http://download.indstate.edu. Please read the information below before downloading any software.
The Microsoft Campus Agreement Education for Enrollment Solutions (EES) is an annual licensing program designed specifically to address the unique needs of higher education institutions. Under the terms and conditions of this agreement all ISU students are eligible to download and have access to certain commonly used Microsoft software including Operating Systems, Office Suites (including upgrades) for use on one personally owned device.
Students also have access to download an anti-virus software package, which is highly recommended. Keeping your anti-virus software up to date will help protect your computer against viruses and malware.
- If you withdraw from ISU for any reason before graduation, you must remove all software from your personal device immediately.
- Upon graduation, students are granted “perpetual use” rights for the Microsoft licensed products.
Due to our licensing agreement with Microsoft, some software packages – including Operating Systems (Windows) and Office may only be downloaded when the semester classes are in session and you are actively taking classes. The student is responsible for full compliance with all software license terms under this agreement.
