ISU Rehab Clinic to offer performance camps

The Indiana State University Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation Clinic will host a series of athletic performance camps aimed at increasing athletic ability and reducing injuries.

The camp, which is designed for students between the ages of 12 and 18, will be offered in four sessions throughout the summer on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, June 3 -28 from 9-10 a.m. and 4-5 p.m. and July 8 through Aug. 9 from 9-10 a.m. and 4-5 p.m.

Sessions will cover pre and post testing, Functional Movement Screen, corrective exercises, dynamic strength training, power development, speed and agility training and athlete performance handbook.

The camps will take place in the university's Athletic Annex at First and Eagle streets. The cost of the camp is $150 per person and each session is limited to 20 athletes. Scholarships and group rates for teams are available.
