University police officer leads rescue of driver from burning car

Officer Chris Heleine, a 4 1/2-year veteran of the Indiana State University  Public Safety Department, pulled a student to safety just seconds before his burning car became almost entirely engulfed in flames.

The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon on a campus parking lot and officials say the officer's quick action likely saved the student's life. The Tribune-Star newspaper carried a full report on the rescue, including video from a campus security camera:
