Positive Behavior Supports in the Schools

On Monday, March 2, David Dean Richey, co-author of the widely acknowledged text, "Behavior Management: Principles and Practices of Positive Behavior Supports," will speak at the College of Education in the 11th floor Conference Room from 3-4 p.m.

Richey will be discussing positive behavior supports (PBS) in schools. Positive behavior supports is increasingly gaining favor as a school-wide approach to maintaining appropriate behavior in all students in schools throughout the nation, including Indiana.

Richey is a recognized authority, author and co-author. He has worked as a professor of special education at Tennessee Technology University and comes with much experience and ideas for the use of PBS in the schools.
