The Concert Band is under the direction of Dennis Ballard. Also on the podium during the Concert Band portion of the program will be Kevin Swift, graduate conductor, and student conductors Karie Swift, Aaron Stoelting and Matt Lindley.
Among the works to be performed by the Concert Band are Carl StrommenÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Ã¢â‚¬Å“Flourish for a Celebration,Ã¢â‚¬Â Ã¢â‚¬Å“Brighton Beach MarchÃ¢â‚¬Â by William Latham, Fred AllenÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Ã¢â‚¬Å“Bosnian Folk Songs,Ã¢â‚¬Â Ã¢â‚¬Å“The Light EternalÃ¢â‚¬Â by James Swearingen, Ã¢â‚¬Å“American RiversongsÃ¢â‚¬Â by Pierre LaPlante and Ã¢â‚¬Å“Not Afraid to DreamÃ¢â‚¬Â by Brian Balmages.
Symphonic Band Brass, under the direction of Daniel Peo, will perform Ã¢â‚¬Å“Beethoven for Brass: A SuiteÃ¢â‚¬Â while the Brass Quintet performs three madrigals from Ã¢â‚¬Å“The Triumphs of Oriana.Ã¢â‚¬Â The Simply Blue Saxophone Quartet will perform David MaslankaÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Ã¢â‚¬Å“Mountain Roads.Ã¢â‚¬Â
