What: Training Class for Weapons of Mass Destruction

When: March 7-9, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day

Where: Landsbaum Center for Health Education, Classrooms 2 and 3

Twenty-eight Wabash Valley agencies will be participating in training for weapons of mass destruction Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The training will be conducted by the Texas Engineering Service, the Emergency Services Training Center and the National Emergency Response and Rescue Training Center utilizing a portable human patient simulator.

Agencies scheduled to participate include Indiana State University Student Health Center, Terre Haute City Fire Department/EMS, Sugar Creek Fire Department/West Terre Haute Police Department, Eli Lilly and Company, Clay County Health Department, Parke County Health Department, Clinton Township Fire Rescue (Vermillion County), Madison Township Fire Department (Putnam County), Hamilton Center, Vermillion County Health Department, Honey Creek Fire/Rescue, Lewis Township Fire Department (Clay County), Union Hospital, Trans Care Ambulance Service, Hoosier Energy, Sullivan County Ambulance Service, and Indiana State Department of Health (District Coordinator), Indiana Department of Homeland Security EMS Division, Department of the Army (Indianapolis) and Miami County EMS.
