"This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to network and become familiar with leading employers in insurance and risk management and financial services," said Mary Ann Boose, professor and program coordinator for insurance and risk management at Indiana State. "With the number of companies participating, our students will have a wide range of job opportunities available to them."
Some of the companies attending will include: Auto-Owners Insurance Co.; Farmers Insurance Group; Federated Insurance; Forrest Sherer, Inc.; Liberty Mutual Insurance Co.; Lockton Companies, Inc.; Gregory & Appel Insurance; ONB Insurance Group; State Farm Insurance; Ameriprise Financial, among others.
"This gives students from all majors a chance to network with these companies and to interview for internships and jobs," said Kylee Kester, a senior insurance/risk management major from Pimento and president of the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma at ISU, a primary sponsor of the event. Students attending the Expo also will be eligible for a variety of prizes, including cash and other prizes from area merchants. For more information, call (812) 237-3510.
