The exhibit includes sculpture, drawings, paintings, photographs and mixed media works by artists Sharon Cordray, David Erickson, Cynthia Evans, Robert Evans, Linda Jeffers, Martha Kaplan, Catherine Knight, Sasha Krasutskaya, Leroy Lamis, Fran Lattanzio , Petra Nyendick, Charles Pate, Elena Rakochy, Jeff Schmuki, Wanda Wilkey and Lou Williams. The Turman Gallery, located in the Fine Arts Building at Chestnut and 7th Street, is open from 1-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
The Turman Gallery will also be open on the evening of Thursday, Sept. 21st from 5-7:30 p.m. in conjunction with the first of the 2006 Indiana State University Art Gallery Lecture Series featuring Dr. Jeffrey Hughes, professor of Art History and Criticism at Webster University in St. Louis, MO. His lecture, "What's Left Over: Abstract Again" will take place in the Recital Hall of the Performing and Fine Arts Building that evening at 5:30 p.m. The University Art Gallery, currently featuring works by ISU Art Department Faculty, will also be open for viewing that evening.

The Turman Art Gallery at Indiana State University is currently showcasing a variety of abstract works by area artists in an exhibit "Abstract Currents," co-curated by Mary Kramer and Petra Nyendick, running through Oct. 5.
