ISU student-athletes Scott Keeney and Kylie Hutson have been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American team.
Keeney had a 3.97 grade point average in mathematics while minoring in chemistry. He received the 2010 Missouri Valley Conference Emerson Excellence Award and the Dr. Charlotte West Scholar-Athlete Award. Hutson majored in physical education-exercise science with a 3.46 grade point average. A five-time All-American in the women's pole vault (three indoor and two outdoor), Hutson won four straight NCAA Championships including the 2009 and 2010 indoor championships and the 2009 and 2010 outdoor championships. She was recently named one of the final 10 candidates for the Bowerman Award which is presented by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross County Coaches Association to the top female track and field athlete in the nation.
