The Gongaware Center for Insurance and Financial Services in Indiana State University's Scott College of Business will host Robert Jones, president and chief executive officer of Old National Bancorp, as its next Leader In Action.
As part of his March 30 visit, Jones will present to students at 2 p.m. on the 11th floor of the Scott College of Business, and at 5:30 p.m. he will speak to students, business leaders and the community-at-large about "Ethics in Financial Services" at a free reception and dinner in Dede III of ISU's Hulman Memorial Student Union.
The Gongaware Center's Leader in Action Series launched in 2007 as part of Financial Services being named an ISU Program of National Distinction. It is designed to bring top industry executives and leaders in insurance and financial services to campus to share their time and talents with students, faculty and area communities. Jones' visit is part of Ethics Week on the ISU campus, and follows on the heels of the university's 5th annual Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility Conference (more at www.indstate.edu/ethics).
Jones assumed his position with Old National Bancorp in 2004 after working 25 years at KeyCorp. He serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis board of directors' executive committee and chairs the audit committee.
