The Gongaware Center for Insurance and Financial Services in Indiana State University's Scott College of Business will host Robert Jones, President and CEO of Old National Bancorp, as its next Leader In Action, March 30. As part of his visit, Jones will present to students at 2 p.m. on the 11th floor of the Scott College of Business, and later that evening, at 5:30 p.m., he will speak to students, business leaders and the community-at-large about "Ethics in Financial Services" at a free reception and dinner in Dede III of ISU's Hulman Memorial Student Union.

The Gongaware Center's Leader In Action Series was officially launched in 2007 as part of Financial Services being named an ISU Program of National Distinction. It is designed to bring top industry executives and leaders in insurance and financial services to campus to share their time and talents with students, faculty and area communities. Jones' visit is part of Ethics Week on the ISU campus, and follows on the heels of the university's 5th annual Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility Conference (more at Past Leaders In Action have included Lockton Companies' Mark Henderson and Marsh USA's Jim Britt.

Jones is the President and CEO of Old National Bancorp and a member of its board of directors. He assumed this position in 2004. Prior to joining Old National, he served for 25 years at KeyCorp. He serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Board of Directors, where he serves as a member of its Executive Committee and Chairs the Audit Committee, among other memberships and volunteer activities. Old National Bancorp, celebrating its 175th anniversary in 2009, is one of the largest financial services holding companies headquartered in Indiana and, with $8 billion in assets, ranks among the top 100 banking companies in the United States.
