Music Career Days 2015-2016

Music Career Days: November 2, 2015 and February 5, 2016

Music Career Days are events tailored to college-bound high school juniors and seniors and will provide you with information about musical opportunities at ISU. These special events offer information about music degrees and professions, private lessons and ensembles, course study, auditions, enrollment, and financial aid so that you can make wise preparations for college. Auditions will be available for students seeking to gain admittance to the ISU School of Music as majors or minors and/or for performance scholarship consideration. In addition, if you choose to, you may apply and gain admittance status while you are on campus!

There are many opportunities for scholarships available to prospective ISU students. To qualify for as many as possible, you should apply as soon as possible. Additional information regarding scholarships is available at http://www2.indstate.edu/scholarships/freshman/.

If you plan to attend these free events, please return the registration form (available soon). Parents are also welcome to accompany you. Each Music Career Day is especially informative and exciting, and we hope you can attend. However, if you are unable to attend, we will be happy to schedule an audition and information session at another time. Students must audition and be admitted to the University by March 1, 2016 in order to be considered for School of Music scholarships.

Call the music office at (812) 237-2771 to request information or register by phone.
