Dr. Vince Formica Department of Biology Swarthmore College |
Dr. Formica’s is currently exploring the process of social selection in the forked fungus beetle (Bolitotherus cornutus). Specifically, his team is investigating if the addition of social selection models further improves our understanding of the selective processes at work in this species. As part of this work, they are venturing into the world of animal social networks to determine their role in phenotypic evolution.
