Student Health Promotions

The Student Counseling Center (SCC) operates the Student Health Promotions (SHP) office. The mission of the SHP is to promote optimal health in the lifestyles of the ISU students. The goal is to share information, develop skills and empower students to make health lifestyle choices in both physical and mental areas of their lives while in college.

The goal is to build and support a healthy college community at ISU. We accomplish this goal through Outreach Education programming, peer health education activities, workshops, free information publications, and guest speaker presentations. We respect the needs of the University and the SHP serves to promote human dignity and health in all its efforts.
