Assessment Coordinator

The Assessment and Accreditation Coordinator supports academic and non-academic assessment, as well as other activities related to continuous improvement initiatives and efforts to enhance institutional performance and student learning outcomes. The work of the Assessment and Accreditation Coordinator is guided by the tripartite Assessment Council, created by the Board of Trustees in July 2009 to guide and oversee institution-wide assessment activities with the goal of facilitating consistent and effective assessment.

Dr. Mary Herrington-Perry joined ISU as the Assessment and Accreditation Coordinator in August 2015. Her role includes working with academic and administrative programs on activities related to continuous improvement initiatives and efforts to enhance institutional performance and student learning outcomes, as well as to assure that ISU meets the assessment requirements of the Higher Learning Commission and other accrediting organizations.
