Money Matters


All of the scholarships require an academic record and participation in University and departmental activities.

Susan Bareford Outstanding Junior Award - FACS Education major, leadership, academics, financial need

FCS Diamond Anniversary Scholarship - Full-time undergrad FCS, financial need, transcript and faculty recommendation

Charlotte Harker Food & Nutrition Scholarship - Full-time undergrad F & N student, transcript and faculty recommendation

Louis F. Keifer – American Lung Association, Vigo County Unit, Health and Safety Scholarship - Health and safety or community health major. Preference will be given to residents of Vigo County and surrounding counties regardless of race, sex, or creed. Students of other Indiana counties will be eligible if there are no Vigo County or area applicants. Eligibility will be based on actual and continuing financial need as determined by the scholarship committee of the Department. Scholarships will be continued on scholastic achievement of 2.5 for undergraduates or 3.0 for graduate students. Scholarship in the Department will be awarded to a senior student or graduate student majoring in community health and/or school health.

Phyllis Elaine Lesnick Landini Memorial Scholarship – Undergraduate health and safety student

Anne M. Lee Scholarship - Full-time, undergraduate FCS major, transcript and recommendation by faculty

Lela or Robert Lemmon Scholarship - Full-time undergrad FCS major, transcript and faculty recommendation

Jennie Parker Graduate Scholarship - Full-time graduate FCS major, transcript, faculty recommendation

Ivah Ryan Scholarship - FCS Sophomore, in upper quarter of class, financial need

Dr. Richard D. Spear Scholarship - Enrolled full time in College of Nursing, Health, and Human Services. Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA. Must be entering junior year. $1,000, Awarded in the Fall

Zeberl’s Family Community Health Endowed Scholarship - Deserving student who chooses to dedicate a career in the field of Community Health. Must have completed junior year as a community health major within the College of Nursing, Health, and Human Services, minimum 3.0 GPA.  Preference given to students participating in professionally related activities.
